Road Trip
You are going to embark on a
road trip through your country with your group. The trip will take 28 days to
complete and your individual routes have already been planned out – but it will
be up to you to research what you will do.
Make sure you include sources
of everything you use from the internet!
1. Start by sitting down with your group and look
at your country. Research this:
·
Where is it on a map?
·
How many people live there?
·
What is the capital city?
·
Currency?
·
Does the country have states/territories?
·
What are some called?
·
What kind of landscape/nature does the country have?
·
Does it differ throughout the country?
·
Who were the original inhabitants of your country?
·
What kind of dialect/accent do the people who live there speak?
2. Together you will then plan
your entire trip as a group. Search for activities and information about the
cities and sights you’ve been given. Look at the different types of landscapes
in your country. It should
include:
·
Description of at least 3 cities in your country
·
At least 3 sights you visited with the
group
·
At least 3 activities you did with the group
·
Description of accurate scenery and landscape
·
A few slang words that you encountered people saying
·
A dish you had that is special and typical for your country
·
How your country differs from Sweden
3. Your information should be presented orally in a film of some kind.
Important is that all members of the group should participate! Find
pictures, videos, music and anything that you think will help you present
your trip and make it interesting. The presentation should be about 10 minutes
long and should be finished on 31st January
Apart from the information you
found out in part 1 and 2, include this:
·
Your vehicle – show us what you have been driving
·
A picture of your country with your route mapped out
·
Information about your country
·
Local sports that we may not have heard of before
·
Local music that is typical and special for your country
·
Information about one well-known person from your country
·
What you found most interesting about your country
